NCMoH Lecture Series: History of Roper House

Join Curator & Director of Collections Grant Quertermous for an exciting look at the history of Roper House located in Charleston, South Carolina. While this will be his last lecture in the North Carolina Museum of History’s “Highballs and History” series, it will provide the same quality entertainment and information. This time providing a fun yet edifying overview of the architecture, history, collections, and landscape of the first house to be built on South Battery. The lectures will also examine current research and ongoing preservation work underway.
