As you plan, remember to allow sufficient time for travel. Decatur House is located one block north of the White House on Lafayette Square, on the corner of H Street and Jackson Place.

If you are driving: Several garages are located near the Decatur House. Street parking is extremely limited. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SECRET SERVICE HAS PLACED RESTRICTIONS ON PARKING IN THE WHITE HOUSE VICINITY. Metro is recommended.
