We have had a busy winter of events at Ayr Mount and the Historic Occoneechee Speedway Trail (HOST). In mid-January, there was a film shoot for a new series called “Lost Speedways”, which will appear on NBC Universal’s new streaming platform, “Peacock“. Racing legends Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt Jr. were on site for the shoot with Matthew Dillner, which took place on the only remaining dirt track from the inaugural 1949 season.
