Dick established Classical American Homes Preservation Trust in the hope that we could broaden appreciation for classical American architecture. He believed that classical American architecture found its most tangible expression in homes, where people’s daily life unfurled. In leaving us carefully restored homes and a thoughtful collection of decorative arts, Dick has given Classical American Homes Preservation Trust the means to promote, for generations to come, an understanding and knowledge of classical American architecture. And, as Classical American Homes Preservation Trust moves forward, we are dedicated to maintaining Dick’s unique founder’s culture while building a lasting, forward-thinking creative institution.
