* Celebrating 50 Years of Preservation *
Classical American Homes Preservation Trust and The Richard Hampton Jenrette Foundation, is proud to recognize Dick Jenrette’s remarkable achievement of fifty years of preservation. He began this journey in 1968 with the purchase of the Robert W. Roper House (1838) on Charleston’s the High Battery, followed soon after in 1969 by the acquisition of Edgewater (1825) on the banks of the Hudson River in Barrytown, New York. With these two purchases Dick Jenrette embarked on a life-long adventure that would establish him as one of the leading preservationists in the country. Please help us celebrate this golden anniversary throughout 2018/2019 by visiting one of our houses, participating in one of our programs, and sharing in our mission to preserve American classical architecture and art. Join in Dick’s and Classical American Homes’ efforts to enhance the present by preserving the beauty of the past.
Tickets $100 per person. Donors who have given $1000 and up (1/1/17 to present), please come as our guest.
