Sunday, January 22, 2017 Classical American Homes Preservation Trust, in conjunction with the Decorative Arts Trust, was pleased to offer an inaugural Colloquium for students and young professionals in the decorative arts field. The speakers gave short lectures describing an exciting range of new discoveries. This event was sponsored in part by the Wunsch Americana Foundation and is a benefit for the Decorative Arts Trust’s Emerging Scholars Program. One of the finest examples of Greek Revival architecture in America celebrates its 175th anniversary This past weekend we celebrated Millford’s 175th Anniversary in grand style, capping a very important year for this magnificent Greek Revival mansion, one of the jewels in the crown of Classical American Homes Preservation Trust. It was a spectacular fall day with family and friends who came to mark this important milestone for Millford. New Bridge Unveiled

New Footbridge in Hillsborough, NC – Connecting Riverwalk to Ayr Mount’s Master Trail Plan Classical American Homes Preservation Trust and The Richard Hampton Jenrette Foundation (CAHPT) is pleased to announce the official opening of a new pedestrian bridge spanning 95 feet over the Eno River. Access to the new Footbridge site is from Elizabeth Brady Road or South Cameron Street in Hillsborough, North Carolina. The new Footbridge, as a vital part of Ayr Mount’s Master Trail Plan, now connects Hillsborough’s Riverwalk to the west with CAHPT’s Historic Occoneechee Speedway Trail to the east. Two events this September and October to celebrate Millford’s Anniversary   Music at Millford Sunday, September 18, 2016 An notable string trio from the Los Angeles Philharmonic will present an exclusive program at Millford this September. Robert deMaine, Principal Cello of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, is both the Artistic Director and a performer in this year’s concert. Robert will be playing with Nathan Cole, First Associate Concertmaster, and Ben Ullery, Assistant Principal Viola.
